Today I Am A Man
In the Jewish faith, at age 13, a young man has a bar mitzvah. Standing before his family and friends, he proclaims that he is now a man.....then he goes back to seventh grade, middle school :) This is such a young man standing at the bema reading from the Torah.
Scrubbin' Steps in the City
Marble steps in Baltimore City are one of the things for which we're known. Scrubbing those marble steps is also a very familiar sight.
Hang Ten
This too was something my grandson Jacob asked me to make....what he called a "surfer dude"....so I did, complete with low slung pants and a shark's tooth necklace.
