Timothy's Gorilla

My Grandson, Timothy, asked that I make him a monkey.
Timothy is nine years old, a football player and, like his dad, a Seattle Seahawks fan......so I made Timothy a monkey with a Seahawks logo and his number (8 -- though you can't see it) on the back. The colors are his team's colors and he was happy with it.

Clown and Dad

My grandson, Jake, asked if I would make him a clown riding a unicycle! Working with clay is difficult for free-standing objects; they kind of melt like the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz so you need to support them somehow. This what happened when I started "supporting" -- Jake liked it.

Today I Am A Man

In the Jewish faith, at age 13, a young man has a bar mitzvah. Standing before his family and friends, he proclaims that he is now a man.....then he goes back to seventh grade, middle school :) This is such a young man standing at the bema reading from the Torah.

Scrubbin' Steps in the City

Marble steps in Baltimore City are one of the things for which we're known. Scrubbing those marble steps is also a very familiar sight.

This too was something my grandson Jacob asked me to make....what he called a "surfer dude"....so I did, complete with low slung pants and a shark's tooth necklace.
